Singapore ICA warns of fraudulent PR application advertisements
Authorities reported fake PR application advertisements and forged approval letters, urging applicants to use official channels.
Fraudulent agencies and documents
On 25 September 2026, ICA and the Singapore Police Force warned about social media adverts directing applicants to fake consultancy websites, demands for money to purportedly boost approval chances, and forged In-Principle Approval (IPA) letters.
What ICA advises
ICA does not endorse commercial providers claiming they can improve a person’s chances of PR approval. Applicants are encouraged to apply directly via ICA’s official website and verify unfamiliar messages, requests and documents.
For families considering relocation
Check eligibility and official procedures before making payments or sharing personal information. No advisory service can guarantee a PR outcome.
